Enterprise OpenSocial
The familiar social usage patterns employed in popular social sites/networks are directly applicable to the enterprise software business, so there is now a strong initiative led by companies such as IBM, SAP, Atlassian, Cisco, among others, that are now actively involved in helping OpenSocial evolve to better serve a business environment.
To that end, this core team of Enterprise software vendors are now meeting on a quarterly basis to strategize on how best to contribute to OpenSocial's evolution towards an evermore Enterprise business friendly technology. Further details on these meetings will be posted on this page.

In addition to meeting on a regular basis and contributing to the OpenSocial specification, this group has recently published a whitepaper that addresses OpenSocial's integration into the Enterprise.
